The base itself looks fine; however, there was a problem with the hardware: the screws slipped through the holes in the roller base, so I was not able to use the umbrella base. It's heavy and seems to hold my umbrella. When you tighten the screw holding the pole, it leaves a gap (see photo). I worry about water getting in here and rusting. note: If you don't tighten it enough and grab it by the umbrella, the pole can slip out. I learned the hard way when the stand landed on my foot..
