Merino wool throw is soft and light in various muted shades. This beautiful, yet casual throw is fine wool thrown in lightweight mélange fluff. Made of 85% merino wool and 15% cashmere and is mulesing-free. The throw was processed and woven entirely in Italy. Due to the high lanolin content in the wool fibers, the throws are almost self-cleaning. Blomus recommends airing.

Update Removed 1 star after washing and drying. I wash all textiles before use due to chemicals. Washed in large fine mesh delicates bag on delicate cycle in cold water. Dried briefly in bag on low heat until damp dry, finished on patio folded in sunshine. Several small holes developed in weave and one on hem finishing. I love the blanket so much that I painstakingly stitched each hole and hope it will hold. But for the care I took with it, it shouldn’t have happed. Glamorous, gigantic and glamorous in Light Grey. I needed a color that would tone down the yellow in my buttercream velvet chair. When I opened the package, I was concerned because it seemed like it might be just a hint warm rather than cool. The "go-to" resource has always been Vickerman so when we finally decided it was time to switch to an artificial tree I naturally chose Vickerman.
