This chest is absolutely stunning. It looks exactly like it is pictured online. The whole chest is solid, well made, and it is very heavy. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. In fact, I kind of want the bedroom set after seeing this in person. I am so happy with this purchase. The look of the trunk is shabby elegance which settles easily with contemporary rustic interiors. It is deep from the inside to hold many blankets, pillows, throws, or toys. It has a distressed turquoise finish on the trunk and the cover has a dark walnut lacquer on it. The contrast of the finish on the trunk and its cover makes it an impeccable décor for your home. Two side handles of iron on the trunk make it easy to move around in the home. This trunk can be arranged in the living room, bedroom, or hallway.
