The chair mat arrived today in perfect condition and my grandson and I installed it because it’s a little bit on the heavy side about 140 pounds but we got it in place and put the little feet on the bottom of it and I’ve been sitting on my office chair for about half an hour, and I can move it very easily where when I sat on the carpet for half an hour, the office chair was about impossible to move because it had sunk down and I have not flush carpet, but I have fairly thick carpet and a fairly thick foam pad underneath so this is absolutely perfect and I give it five stars and if I had 10 stars, I’d give it 10 stars. It sounds like some customers are expecting too much or haven't read the description. This is a "temporary" solution, even though it is also billed as durable and long lasting. This is not intended to be a decorating highlight. I ordered two, cut them to fit, and they were lifesavers during construction/remodeling of a two-story home. While they will not fit tight to stairs without reinforcement, they do however stay pretty securely in place, and literally saved my cream carpeted stairs from potential extreme damage and wear from contractors, movers, and us during a very dirty period for the house. Caught so much dirt, washable, didn't look great, but served the purpose of temporarily protecting the carpet in a superior way. Due to the foam backing, it did not shift (not much - had to be periodically readjusted) under the feet of movers carrying hundreds of pounds upstairs with no tears or holes like plastic or paper. No need for damaging and difficult adhesive. When used as a temporary solution, an excellent option to protect your home. Only 4 stars just because it can shift and bunch a little and can't think of a real solution for that. Still, a lifesaver - was glad to pay the money to protect expensive carpet.. Suzette. Core Product Principle: The Cat Scratch-Resistant Sofa Cover is a physical protective product specifically designed for households with pets, addressing the common issue of cats scratching furniture. Cats scratch to mark their territory and sharpen their claws, typically favoring textured or easily scratched materials. The surface of the transparent scratch-resistant cover is usually extremely smooth, causing the cat's claws to slip upon contact. This gradually diminishes the cat's interest in that area. Important Notes: Not all cats will stop scratching due to the tape. Some may attempt to tear it off. For best results, use alongside alternatives like scratching posts or cat trees to redirect cats to appropriate scratching locations.

The Slip-Stop Rug on the Carpet rug pad is low profile and designed to help combat carpet shift and keep area rugs in place over carpeted floors. Fast and easy to install, you won’t even realize it’s there as it helps prevent dangerous and frustrating bunching and sliding. Don’t let its low profile fool you. Rug on Carpet lives up to its name with a strong, solid construction built using our own adhesive application process. During this process, we coat both sides of a non-woven polyester textile with a special water-based, pressure-sensitive, non-transferable, dry acrylic adhesive. This is how a rug on a carpet achieves maximum gripping power, so you can walk across your area rug. Completely unfold to expose the adhesive side. Place the adhesive side down in the desired location on your carpeted floor. Remove the protective film to expose the alternate adhesive side and place your area rug on top. Proudly made in the USA, we offer a 10-year guarantee with proper use and maintenance. Spot clean with a water-damp sponge and air dry. We use our rug pads in our own homes, and everything we sell is designed with safety and comfort in mind. Don’t let your peace of mind slip away, take your floors back today with a rug on carpet from Slip-Stop.

This rug on carpet pad helped us lay a large rug over our ugly carpet (we rent, so we can’t replace the floors). The rug doesn’t slip around at all, which is what we were worried about. Make sure you lay the pad out straight and flat before putting the rug on top, be. Anna. Philadelphia, PA. Mon Sep 28 2026
