The bed is great! The only thing that was frustrating was that it was advertised as the lowest price and had a 24 hour window to get the offer so I took it. I found out two days later that the Bed went on sale for a lower price and when I contacted customer service, they were unwilling to match that price or even let me return the bed and get my money back and then order the Bed at the lower price. I love this Murphy bed. Assembly wasn't difficult at all and can CERTAINLY been done by one person. It took me about 5 hours by myself. I rarely write reviews, but I felt strongly enough about this piece that I wanted to inform others. Pretty disappointed. I have bought pieces from Lark Manor before and the quality on this bed is significantly less than I expected. This bed is OK and it will suffice, but would not purchase again. To start, this is NOT an easy assembly. It looks me approximately 8 hours to assemble and I've assembled a lot of furniture in my time. Directions are pictures with no words. Do yourself a favor and purchase the assembly. Also, please note that every single silver bolt in this bed is completely visible. If you are shopping on a mobile device (which I did) you won't see them in the picture, but once you view it on a large screen (and most definitely in person) they will pop out at you. In my opinion this makes the bed look pretty cheap. So they significantly detract from the otherwise nice look of the bed. Also, the bed slats are not super sturdy and there are only 3 support beams in the middle out of the 10 slats. They have a pretty significant bend to theme just putting a little body weight on them. I'm holding my breath for what happens once we put the mattress on it and my kid sleeps in it. If you just need something cheap and ok-ish, then this is the bed for you. I seriously regret this purchase but have put too much time and energy into it to replace it. It will be fine until my kid goes to college in a year.
