Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. We got this bunk bed with storage for our kids, and it has been a total game changer for their room. Looks great, feels great, and it was fairly easy to put together. The instructions may not be the best for someone that’s not really handy. It took me about 6 hours to include bringing in the boxes, opening them all and tearing them all down, tying up the boxes. and then assembling the bed. Looks just like the picture online once assembled, ended up being the perfect size and height for my son’s bedroom and for him to enjoy for years to come, feels sturdy, good quality material. Assembly company was pretty good the first person wasn’t quite able to complete the assembly, I called and someone came two days later and finished it up, was fine since we are still in the process of moving our things. The photo is with an 8” twin mattress on top also purchased from Wayfair, still moving our full size mattress over and the trundle is very handy. I highly recommend this bed!. Patricia. I am really really impressed with this bunk bed. I read TONS of reviews and scoured the Internet and really glad I decided to buy this. I have a picky husband who despises poor quality (more than most people) so I knew he’d be reviewing each and every piece with a critical eye. Even he is a big fan of these beds!!! Very well made, all the holes lined up, not a scratch to be seen. My girls LOVE it and were so happy. We went with a 9 inch mattress on top. This isn’t the cheapest bunk bed on the market...but it’s worth every penny. It’s a very safe and well made construction. FYI...this shipped in 10+ boxes...large boxes. My husband put together by himself. He changed up the directions and put together the bottom first, then the frame of the top, and then the top slats, just FYI. I only helped carry the boxes upstairs. And we opened all the boxes first and got all the hardware pieces and directions together before starting. The bed took me 6 hours to assemble by myself. I would look at the entire way to assemble starting at step 20. For me it was easier to do the top bunk matress bars first. The top bunk is not very attractive once its made so I inserted a base under the mattress to tuck the sheets under. (Not shown in photo).
