The bed is beautiful. Solid beechwood. Very sturdy. The crew putting it together had a hard time. It took two of them over 4 hours to assemble it. I’m glad I did not try putting it together myself. The lights are wired for a European 220 volt outlet so they are not usable in USA. ... VERY disappointed in the overall quality of this product, which is certainly NOT wood, but compressed wood / particle board and what appears to be a Formica or Formica-like “wood” finish. There are a LOT of staples and glue used, as well. It’s no wonder nearly all pieces sustained some type of damage in transit. . . cannot imagine this lasting very long. Also, the color is not a grey or antique grey, as stated, but more of an odd light khaki(ish) color. . . waiting to be scheduled for the return pick up of the entire bedroom set (multiple pieces) and full refund. . . enormous disappointment and imposition (now have to find something else and hope it is available ASAP)..
