We ordered this umbrella to provide shade over a portion of our above-ground pool so we'd have a place to get relief from the strong Florida sun. The only issue my husband was worried about was the fact smaller rocks could easily fall out through the large hole screen it comes with in the bottom of the squares. It is an awesome cantilever style umbrella, it is heavy and really easy to put together two observations is that the cover for the base is not included, so you have to be careful not to trip over the cross base. Upon some quick research it is possible to buy here on Wayfair too so you don’t have to make two separate orders. Great Umbrella! Easy to assemble and took about 15 minutes. The base does require sand to keep it secured, but it comes with heavy duty canvas sand bags that fit inside the square base. The hand crank to open and close it turned easily and fully extended it covers a lot of space. You do have to play with the clamp/arm to get the angle you want, but its easy to operate. I wish they had provided slightly larger tie strings as they barely go around the umbrella to secure it while down. A piece of velcro fixed that issue. I got the khaki color and it a nuetral color.. This umbrella turned out to be bigger than I anticipated. It was super easy to build, instructions were very clear. I did need help to attach the umbrella to the bottom stand but overall, it took about 40 minutes to put together. This is a monster! Great coverage of our ten seater dining table , love the 360 and the tilt mode. It took three adults to put it together it is massive and is a bit tricky , maybe finicky when opening it but once it is open it’s fantastic and provides excellent shade. Make note the base needs to have weight added to it I think the minimum is 660 lbs! We used landscape fabric and some rubber weight plates then covered with rocks and then black river rock .
