The umbrella is fantastic. First, it came in 3 and 1/2 days, was well packaged and ready to use. It is quite sturdy and has an easy to use crank mechanism for raising and lowering the shade. The safety pin is an asset, something that is not always present. The umbrella seems a bit wider than 9’ as it provides great coverage for a standard 6 seater table. I ordered it in vintage merlot, which is a really nice rich red. The fabric is heavy and is coated, so will hopefully withstand the sun. Overall, seems to be high quality.. Jacqueline. This is by far the best market umbrella I’ve ever owned. I opted for the sunbrella fabric as it’s heavier than the other fabrics I’ve owned in the past (and did not last as long). This umbrella has a bronze colored pole and is operated by a hand crank although it does have an auto tilt feature. The auto tilt is amazing as you slowly keep cranking after the umbrella is fully extended, the auto tilt engages and the umbrella will automatically tilt. Once you start cranking in the opposite direction to close the umbrella, the auto tilt disengages and the umbrella stands upright so you can finish closing it. I bought the umbrella in the blue frost color and after two years the fabric has not faded and the crank and auto tilt, still work perfectly.. Holly. Afton, VA. Mon Jun 01 2026
