The umbrella does require two people to set it up in my opinion, I had the Angie person come and do that. It’s just so large! Once it is set up, it is so easy to move around and also lock in place. We have been using this umbrella for about 2 weeks now. It is well constructed. The assembly instructions are very clear. I really liked the way all of the bolts and tools were packaged to make it clear and easy. The hardest part was lugging 250 pounds of sand to the back yard and pouring that sand into the base. We also added water. That being said, the umbrella appears very stable (which is important). The rest of the assembly was easy. I think the only real downside to this umbrella is that even though it has wheels on the base it is very hard for 2 people to move it- this being the tradeoff for overall stability.. Kd. Boston. The umbrella is great. Large in size and attractive. The assembly was a 2 person job at times and there was a point when the arm extensions had to be put on and the instructions should have mentioned that it would be a tight fit and might require force or maybe a hammer to help to slide together. Also the umbrella is a material I wasn’t expecting. I guess I was expecting more of a cloth but it’s attractive and we shall see how it holds up to the Las Vegas sun. One last thing. Wheels under the base to help with moving it would be nice because once you fill it with water there is no moving it without draining the water. And finally, giving a demonstration that has some walls or something would be nice so people who have walls or patio tops k ow that in order for the umbrella arms to open there is some clearance around the umbrella to open.
