This canopy worked perfectly for a backyard BBQ. It provided plenty of shade and space for our guests, and the sidewalls were a nice bonus for extra coverage when needed. We purchased this for a party and it was great. The assembly was somewhat difficult because the instructions weren’t very clear but we were able to figure it out. It definitely requires multiple people when you are flipping it and attaching the legs. We used 5 people (and I would say I wasn’t that helpful because I am too short). We ordered this canopy because its 12x12 as opposed to the normal 10x10 that is available at your local big box store or sporting goods store... the blue stores lol. We like that it has an enclosure because it will be perfect for winter cigar smoking. However, upon putting it together, the 4 side panels are difficult to line up and it would take quite some time and adjustment to actually seal the corners and keep cold air out. I dont think we will end up using it for the originally intended purpose after all. The one push easy up is pretty nice. Its far more user friendly as a shade structure than the ones from the blue guys. The frame itself is bowed a bit in the top support structure, indicating that the pieces dont quite fit right.
