The canoe took a little while to get however it is completely totally worth the wait. It is beautiful made stained wood with a nice gloss shine to it. When you have a large wall it is hard to find the right piece to place on the wall so it doesn’t overwhelm the space or look too small. They are expensive, but they were exactly what we were looking for. They tell a story that we have lived and it is so nice to have these lights serve as a memory. For bulbs, I installed GE Reveal LEDs that are all GLASS and the whole bulb lights up, not "half" the bulb like many LEDs are designed that have the tall collar extending up from the base. This is a FULLY ASSEMBLED replica of a Peterborough Canoe. It looks and feels like a miniature real boat. This 23.5-inch model is strip built from the highest quality of woods by master artisans using 'plank on frame' construction, just like real boats. Each model takes about 50 hours to construct and undergoes a demanding quality-control process. Among the details of this boat model: interior ribs, 2 oars, oar holders, brass nameplate and wood stand. The boat is wood, through and through!
