I love the red but the gray is more like an army green. I love the quality of the sheet set and the I love that the pillow cases have an envelope closure so the pillow never slides out. In the inside of the case there is a big piece sew at the pillow case opening in that you pull out and cover the end of the pillow! These are bright white, and durable after washing and drying. Seem to be high quality. Not a single thread came loose after washing. They do wrinkle and are not silky smooth. But the percale is cool in the summer and it lasts a lot longer than sateen weave. Percale takes a while to soften up, so I expect these to soften after about 15 washes like my other sheets.
