This is a nice little hall tree perfect for organizing motorcycle gear (helmet, gloves, jacket, etc.). I'm docking a star for multiple reasons. First, the advertising is misleading, showing gear that is baby-sized, if not smaller, in order to make the hall tree look larger than it is. In reality this hall tree can only comfortably hold gear for 1 adult. The second issue is that the assembly is a pain, with over 20 steps and a bunch of long wood screws. Also, an important note-- they recommend anchoring the top to a wall, because this is a top-heavy and relatively unstable design that could easily fall over. The only issue for me personally is the hooks sit so high there’s only about an inch clearance. The heavier coats without hanging loops don’t want to fit between the hook and the bottom of the upper shelves. The seat cushion is also quite thin. For us it holds 8 pairs of shoes.
