This oversized chair was the perfect size for my alcove and the color is nice and neutral. The one bracket was a little bent but fixed easily with a mallet. Some of the cushions were packed inside the back part of the chair and were hard to pull out. A screw needed to be removed before pulling the cushions otherwise it wouldve torn the fabric pulling it out. I wish there was a fabric flap that could be attached to cover up the space where the cushions were packed because I imagine dirt and debris are going to get caught up inside. We bought this to replace the cheap 19+ year old recliner that our Bernese Mt Dogs have claimed as their throne all this time It was old, stinky, broken and long past its pull date. I chose this chair because it looked sturdy (it IS!) and had padded arms. Our current Princess is a bit wary of her new throne, but in another day or so I am sure will she will have it claimed. The only problem was the FedEx driver who literally grunted at me when I asked how much it weighed, rolled it out of his truck into my driveway, then grunted again when I said thank you as he got into the truck and peeled out.
