My chair arrived intact and on day expected. The FedEx driver was putting it on the carport which was great due to expect. I asked if he could take to my feet family room door just about 15-20 ft from where he was leaving it and he did, earning him a tip. The chair had no damage and I noted that the dust cover at bottom of the chair was actually cloth instead of the paper like stuff that’s often used. I’m 79 yo and moved the box into the house, removed and inspected everything by myself. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. I looked at these chairs for a while and am really glad I got them. Very nice in person, the seats a little stiff but not uncomfortable. Soft Baby blue but color can change a little with whatever pillows you add. I needed to blend my other blues in room a bit and the added pillow helped. I attempted to attach the wings to the back but was unable to get the brackets to slide into each other so had to wait for help. Once that was done the rest was easy. I love the color and like many have said in reviews the seat is hard. I expect it will soften up with uses. The fabric is nice and I expect to get many years of use from this chair. This set of chairs is great. It was mostly what I was expecting based on the description . The chairs were slightly darker taupe than I was anticipating. I have some other Furniture Classics dining chairs that were supposed to have the same color but it may just be slightly different dye lots. Overall I’m very happy the the chairs and the process of ordering them through Perigold.
