I wanted to pick out a refrigerator because my old one was 20 years old. A friend recommended this Cafe model. I had been wanting the split freezer because I do not purchase boxes of anything. I felt like I could use he organization that this model affords and I was correct. I LOVE, LOVE the freezer. My husband was against getting a new refrigerator because our other one was still working and we have heard that nothing lasts more than 5 years anymore. We hope that is not true, because we so love this refrigerator. Even if it was just the water pitcher that fills automatically, it would have been worth it. Just FYI if you buy one. WE have not had it for long, but love the hot water and Keurig feature. Leaves countertops empty of a coffee maker. Great for single brew cups and hot tea. Also great when baking as you can measure the water out if called for in recipes. Love the compartments in frig. And space in the freezer.
