This Bachman extendable dining table is just what we needed! It's expensive but the quality is very good. It is a solid wood indeed and it fits perfectly in our space. We needed something that will work for our not so big dining area for everyday use but can be extended to use when there's a big gathering. We got a different set of dining chairs coz we needed more back support and this table and its bench matched perfectly with the different chairs we got. This purchase was big enough that full service assembly was free from the Wayfair guys so that was really helpful. It's quite heavy too. My husband and I absolutely love the look and how versatile the design is. If you want to achieve a modern, timeless or even farmhouse vibe in your house, this will fit your needs! 10/10 recommend. . This table was relatively easy to put together. I did give it 5 stars because it is very sturdy, however it did come with some scratches on the surface. The directions were very easy to read. The top collapses by lifting up and pulling the metal bar under it out. Easy to move in my classroom.. Michelle. York, PA. Wed Aug 26 2026

Really easy to build and very sturdy but I was missing a whole set of screws. I think they accidentally put in more of another set because I had more than enough to build the piece and it works perfectly as I imagine it should. Also, the hinges are visible when it’s folded and very visible because it’s silver on dark walnut but it is what it is. It’s sturdy, doesn’t wobble and the table top is flat when it’s up. Can’t complain for the price and it does exactly what I needed - take up very little square footage. Judy. Nyack, NY. Thu Jun 11 2026

It is Ideal for family dinners and gatherings.MDF board is waterproof and can be easily wiped clean as new.The movable tabletop design is suitable for various application scenarios, making it convenient to meet the dining needs of 4 to 12 people.

For the price so far, so good. I find it hilarious that the ribbed wood pedestal is Velcrod to the table But it looks fine enough for my purposes. I bought the table more for looks, as it will rarely be used. Still, its very decent quality (as much quality as you can get from MDF and veneer), and seems sturdy with the extra middle support. Id say it seats 8 comfortably. If you have slimmer profile chairs, you could squeeze in 10 tightly.. Heather. Sacramento, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

8/10, an absolute WIN! One piece of the table has a dent in it due to shipping and handling. I put a vase on top of it to hide it. Wayfair gave a me a small % of a refund due to the dent. I paid for the professional assembly Wayfair offers, and it took him 3.5 hours to assemble. TONS of pieces, and the instruction manual is crucial! It has plenty of space, is aesthetically pleasing, and gives my kitchen the luxury upgrade I desire. It has two drawers that don’t have the lock when you extend it, so I have to be careful when opening it. I even added books where some would put spices, so I am loving the dual purpose. I also enjoy using the outlet that comes with the island. I love it!! 100% recommend!. K. Philadelphia, PA. Sun Jun 14 2026
