These turned out beautifully but I severely underestimated the amount of time it would take to get them to this point. I struggled to get these to stain as dark as I wanted. I tried just staining them at first and then had to go back and sand them down to get them to stain darker. Sometimes the clearance you have is not enough, sometimes the gap between the two doors is too large, and sometimes it just feels frustrating to put all the pieces together. Now, with our single-track bypass option, installing a bypass kit has never been easier. MDF material sliding doors stand out for their space-saving capabilities, easy installation, and durability. Whether they are a part of your home décor or used in commercial settings, these sliding doors provide convenience and comfort. A properly sized sliding door can effortlessly meet your space requirements and enhance the modern and sophisticated feel of your room.

This closet is MDF, short for Medium-Density Fiberboard, is manufactured by combining wood fibers, resin, and other additives. So, it does not feel or smell like wood, it feels more like plastic, it has texture to it like wood that was added to it. It has a white opaque color, so the closet doors do not have a shine to them. Since it is made of MDF, stains can be wiped off with a Lysol wipe. But obviously don't let stains sit because then they won't come off. The product came in two huge extremely heavy boxes, that the consumer has to assemble themselves. You have to assemble each panel, like every thin board in each door panel, including the thin boards that cross each door panel. I really recommended you pay a handyman to install it, unless you can do it yourself. It took 4-5 hours for my 2 handymen to install the closet due to adjustments they had to do. My home is an older 1960's home, so if your home is more modern it might take less time. Also, my handymen bought a thin board to cover the top of the closest, again I emphasize that my home is older, you might not need to do this.
