The chairs are very beautiful and look very elegant. However, they do have some flaws. The sides did come with some leather damage. The legs had some nicks, and the back flap looks unfinished when the back is exposed to view. In my opinion the back could use some extra velcro to lay the flap flat against the chair. That takes away from the quality of this elegant chair, hence why I gave it a 4. This order also had some extraordinary delays in delivery. So, we had to wait more time than expected. Then upon delivery they had the damages I described were found. At the present time I am waiting to hear from the seller to see what can be done. I will post an update. Absolutely beautiful chairs. I bought the brown (darker) version. I was somewhat confused because everything online says these chairs are genuine leather. However, the instruction manual as you can see in the photo says faux leather on the cover. I emailed Wayfair and they responded back to me and called me to let me know that they believed this is genuine leather and that the instruction manual must be a generic one the manufacturer sends out and possibly this company makes a chair that looks identical that is faux leather. I do believe these chairs are genuine leather because as I was unpacking them the entire house smelled like leather and I don’t believe that is not something you get with faux leather. It looks and smells like genuine leather and I’m very pleased with these chairs. Where the leather was folded for corners, you can see stress indicators on the leather, which I hope will not cause a shorter lifespan in the durability for the chair. Time will tell. I was skeptical to order these sight unseen. I ordered late on a Saturday night and they were delivered Monday morning. So fast! I was concerned about getting them into the house and put together. They were boxes well and my husband and I moved them into the room. They come in 2 pieces. The base and the back. The back easily slides into the base. Plug the back into the base and the base into the wall. Worked perfectly. I wasn’t sure that we really needed power recliners but these are awesome. Right out of the box ! we bought 2; kind of a Graphite Black color - they were packed/shipped very well & delivered quickly (Summer 2025)- they went together easily, the swivel recliners met & enhanced the aesthetic theme expectations of the space they are in beautifully! After a month of moderate usage in a sun-light/UV protected space, by 2 people w/no animals i will unfortunately have to change the initial 4.5 star rating to a 2.5 star rating for the following reasons: 1) the chair back & w/recliner extended is designed to comfortably accommodate a person under 5'9" - works for me at 5' but not my husband @ 6'. 2) the recliners foot-leg rest only extends to full-out - there is no partial or 1/2 way for the leg extension. 3) on both chairs, the leather on the head-rest & seat-back & the seat cushions very quickly/prematurely began drooping/sagging, wrinkled & starting to show a crack/split appearance (that is not due to years of age as would be expected) and is only getting worse over time. The price-point for these at the time was reasonable & on paper the 'look' & description of them seemed to be the perfect fit to enhance our Great Rooms furniture suite; unfortunately the quality of these recliners materials & the size/mechanical limitations are disappointing and will not meet the hoped for expectations for comfortability w/a quality handsome appearance or the quality of durability & long wear. - sv. Perfect fit! A comfortable work station for this 6 footer and his laptop. The very same for my 5'-2" wife.
