We're in the process of upgrading the bath rooms and kitchen in our home. Most existing products/fixtures being builder quality items. We've already replaced a number of bath faucets with Moen products, and we love them, so if this review sounds a little "biased", its because of our past good experiences with Moen.
My wife leans toward "retro" looking products, so the Waterhill S713 fit the bill perfectly. Looks handsome, installed easily and the handles operate smooth as silk. When you take it out of it's packaging the first thing that hits you is the weight. This is no flimsy, thin walled, use it five to six years and replace it faucet. I know quality when I see it, and this faucet will outlast the sink its attached to. The finish is flawless. Absolutely stunning to look at.
Installation was a breeze. Although I like to do things myself, "plumbing" repairs/installations and I haven't always gotten along. That made me a bit hesitant to install this faucet myself. But, in the end, everything went smoothly, the instructions were clear and easy to follow, and we ended up with a beautiful installation. Only issue I have now is that my with feels the faucet looks way too good for the sink it's attached to. I see another project in my future.
