Overall the workbench is very well made and extremely sturdy. It was very easy to put together with clear instructions. Just what I was looking for in a real solid wood kitchen island on a budget! It fits our space & is a basic style for a good price. It is a soft wood (fir) so you do have to be gentle with it & it did come with some shipping/packaging character marks, but our style is rustic/vintage so it works just fine. I actually modified it by cutting off the bottom 2” on each leg & adding rollers so it is easily moveable by just one person. Love the look of the table and chairs. Not sure of the quality or how well it will hold up but it does look nife with a very slight white wash. The chair legs seem to be different lengths and there is no height adjustment so it make chairs wobbly. The table came with a nick in the tap but could not return as I needed the table for a certain day. Items were sent in 3 different boxes from 3 different locations on 3 different days and that cost my company extra time to be there for the delivery and assemble on different days. Wayfair sent wrong item at first then it took an extra two weeks to get the correct bench and HOURS on the phone with customer service on about 5 differnt calls because they could not get things right. I needed item for a Open house in a week of when I ordered but the bench took 3 weeks after order to get it and if I new this I would have never ordered it. This is a beautiful table, it’s made of a good quality wood and is not a laminate top, this also means that it can scratch easily. The finish on it is beautiful and it went together very easily.
