Absolutely beautiful, black, solid wood table! It is not engineered wood or cheap MDF. Very easy to assemble. Just add the four legs. One of the two support pieces that go on the underside of the table came unattached during shipping but it was easy to rescrew it back into place. In person, this table is even nicer than I imagined. We loved the unique color combination. Definitely more grey than blue as annother byer indicated. But, we were ready for that. Its hard to find a dining table of a narrower width like this one. This feature made our table the perfect match for our space. I took off a star because I feel the table top has a bit of a wobble.
