The packaging was carefully designed (volume and placement) except for the head of the statue, causing the head to bump against the box without protection throughout its journey. The photograph shows the indentations and discoloring on the inside of the box caused by the head bumping against it. There was a slight discoloration on the head from this activity, as well.
