Overall I love these lights the app is a little confusing to use and I had an issue where the box that is on the back of them is in the way of using the mounting holes that are close so I had to undo the Box and kind of finagle it in there which made the install a little bit more difficult. This was the perfect choice for my home office. The jbox which controls this light fixture would not allow for a dimmer switch so this Deontee fixture worked perfectly: LED, dimmable and the ability to change the color temperature. It was affordable and easy to install (though I think I need to fiddle with it a bit so the fixture will fit more flush to the ceiling). I am considering placing an order for a second fixture in an adjacent hallway--good to know that one remote can control both fixtures.. Gerry. Minneapolis, MN. Sun Oct 18 2026

I had never seen a ceiling light like this before and was pretty intrigued. The light itself is pretty large. We are planning to install it in a bedroom, however it would probably work well in a larger space like a living room. The light comes with a remote which can control the color and brightness. There is also an app that can be used to control the various functions of the smart light. There is a feature that can be set up for gradual brightness for waking up in the morning which is pretty neat. When off, the light itself is a glossy white with an outer white frame.. Eric. PA.
