Plate of food, your drink or more importantly, a book! That rattan is sturdy and holds up well in our New England weather. I can’t say enough positive things bout the cushions. Repels water, if you spill something or it’s rained on the water just puddles and runs off. The cushions are thick and comfy. The back cushions have a zipper so I can take them off to be washed. The set looks very nice however the description and what was delivered was not the same. This is the 2nd set I ordered because of the same problem as the first. This 7-piece outdoor conversation set gives you a fun, convenient spot to relax on your patio or deck. When it needs a refresh, it's a cinch to unzip the cushion covers and toss them into the washing machine.

This is definitely a nice set. The star of the show is the wicker. It’s pretty of course but also very nice quality with a nice pliability. It doesn’t look or feel cheap and plastic-y like some wicker (real and fake). 2 minor points that made me take off a star the first is that the back cushions, while comfortable, fall downblow away with high wind... a bit more so than other sets I’ve had. I may try to find a solution with either sewing or Velcro or something like that. The second point, and I more or less knew this going into the purchase, is that the backs are low. We’re all fairly small, and it’s still quite comfortable. Gorgeous set and great quality. I was looking for a set that sat off the ground and was a bit higher and this was perfect. I will say it was a bear to put together..however it did recommend 2 people but I didn't have that luxury Best advice it to look at the POV of the manual pictures and follow it exactly as each piece only has one place it can go..
