No, had no problem putting it together since I know how to do this kind of stuff but the only problem I’m having is the plastic on top of the gazebo. It’s hard to get off the protective plastic but otherwise from that love the gazebo.. Conrad. Mon Oct 19 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sojag canopy parts are well constructed. Very nice finishes on every piece. It would be pretty hard to complete this project without a helper. The assembly can be done in one full day. Became quicker construction when the impact gun was used, however we are used to that tool and knew how to not over tighten. We used a square early on to keep the upright supports square. It should be emphasized in the directions when to final tighten screws. The cross supports which secure the roofing material should NOT be tightened until all screws are installed from above which hold the roofing material down. This helps to line up the bolts through the tubing/cross supports. Packaging was good. Instructions were concise. Labeling on the parts was good.. Nict. Nash. Tue Apr 25 2023

Its exceptional drainage systems efficiently minimize rain and snow buildup.

Love my new gazebo! Luckily my very handy husband has the patience & skills to read the directions carefully and put it all together. He even had to fix 4 lower middle roof dividers that had the holes on the wrong side at the bottom (I.e., water holes) but, was able to correct this by drilling new holes.. Beth. ON. Sun Apr 19 2026

outdoor canopy, all-round suitable for all kinds of outdoor scenarios! I've purchased several things through Wayfair and each of those was a pleasant experience. This hard-topped gazebo is beautiful now that it is complete and it looks impressive in our yard. We look forward to many years of use. But, it had a couple of misleading aspects to it The estimated construction time mentioned on the item's site was grossly understated. Even with the help of a second person for certain tasks, it took me more than 4 times the estimate in the listing -- and I am pretty experienced at constructing similar things. The product's installation instructions were nicely illustrated, but several parts were mis-labled in the instructions and several of the instructions didn't cover crucial details. More instructions and more explicit details would have been very useful. Some instructions were so ambiguous that I had to try out more than one possibility, going back and re-doing certain things. That is the product manufacturer's fault, though. Wayfair's transaction went very well. They are efficient, speedy, accurate and responsive. One quibble: in the time between placing my order and receiving the shipping confirmation (just a couple of days), the gazebo's price dropped almost $100. It would have been nice of them to give me the reduced price.. Thomas. MI. Sun Aug 09 2026

I ordered this and added the professional installation option. The gazebo itself arrived on time, and throughout the process Wayfair's customer service was responsive and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, the installation experience was a nightmare. The contractors repeatedly cancelled appointments at the last minute, forcing us to reschedule multiple times. One morning appointment was even cancelled at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the installation. After several delays, someone finally arrived only to tell us that a required part was missing. We were then informed that the replacement part would take several weeks to arrive. At that point, we ended up canceling the order and begin the refund process. I appreciate Wayfair's customer service and how quickly they responded whenever we reached out. However, the installation contractor they use was awful. I would order products from Wayfair again, but I would think twice before paying for their professional installation service.. Sunny. Sun Jul 19 2026

The outdoor galvanized iron roofed gazebos have strong, durable, non-corrosive roofs that are waterproof, sunshade and UV resistant. The cedar wood frame is rust resistant and assembles effortlessly. Perfect for poolside parties, family barbecues, backyard grills, and patio picnics. Our heavy duty gazebo creates a new place for cool shade and comfortable outdoor space for you and your family. You can set it up in front of a store, pool or house without a roof as an outdoor sun protection.

Photos shared are in progress, not complete. Overall this seems to be a great gazebo that should last a good amount of years and provide shelter from the elements, shade and a great outdoor living space for my family. The package came in 6 large boxes and we decided to tackle installation ourselves. As a working family, it took us 2 full weekends to complete the install. It was NOT easy, however, the kit came with every single correct part, cut to the right size, with plenty of hardware..but man was it tough in a few places! Mostly tedious, but definitely challenging for two healthy adults. Beyond the tediousness of assembly, the worst part about the entire experience was the shrink wrapped plastic coating that was applied to each metal roof panel. Why in the world was this done! We had to peel each individual metal sheet to remove the shrink wrapped layer that the Colorado sun would bake and flake off in less than a season and this added hours of unexpected assembly time and was an infuriating process! Otherwise my only feedback or warning is that the instruction manual has no written instructions, only pictures and symbols to work you through 18 steps with hundreds of parts. That made it challenging in a few places. Otherwise a heads up that you’ll be putting the entire thing together with an Allen wrench but I’d recommend having a drill with a hex bit and a socket wrench. A ladder is a must. Would recommend as a nice back yard gazebo, but with knowledge that it likely won’t last forever. Overall happy with our purchase!. Bria. CO. Mon Oct 12 2026

This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it). You need to be handy to do this, or just enjoy putting 10000 piece puzzles together. Perhaps hiring someone to do this is worth the expense.. Anonymous. Thu Jun 11 2026
