Ok let's talk chairs! When using in a rental upholstery is a nightmare and solid would is so heavy. The table is a 5 star! Super heavy nice quality! The chairs are nice but not quite as heavy. The table took about an hour for 1 person to assemble so might be easier faster with 2 people. The biggest delay was lining up the screws to attach the top. The table was packaged securely and arrived without flaws. I love the dark color which is brown with a black undertone. We love the unique textured design and very simple lines of this dining table set. It includes one dining table and four dining chairs, all in a natural oak. The tabletop is crafted from engineered wood with flared legs, and the legs are made from solid wood. Each chair is crafted from solid wood with ladder backs and seats upholstered in a contrasting light polyester fabric. It's great for lively meals with friends and family.

Very easy to put together (recommended to get all parts for the screws together at once, then screw in everything once it’s prepped). 3 different boxes that were delivered to top floor of apt, all lightweight. Table and chair finish looks a little different in person compared to the pictures, but nothing vile or overly wrongly depicted. Great for small apartment. Not too big of a table, but definitely not a grand one. Solid affordable option for minimal style. Chairs are comfy and firm, also easy to put together. Built it by myself, about 1.5-2 hours, but could easily be done in under and hour if not distracted. Minor chipping in the corners. In hindsight, the white parts in the grain aren’t easily seen in the listing’s pictures, but they’re quite stark in person, so keep that in mind— will be buying a tablecloth since it is quite noticeable in real life.. The assembly instructions don’t tell you how to insert the gold pieces, so I’m sharing the trick here. You won’t be able to push in the gold pieces with your fingers and the holes will seem too small, but the pieces will fit - you have to use a mallet. Tilt the piece and use your mallet to gently tap in one edge of the piece so that it lodges crookedly in the hole.
