It is beautiful and feels heavy and stable. It does not squeak or move around. I placed the bed on the carpet and the drawers still move in and out easily. Drawers are made of solid wood. I have had other similar beds where the drawers are made of plastic. I am glad that I paid someone to install it because it took a pro more than an hour. The bed was easy to put together very heavy duty headboard is a beautiful, soft off-white with deep dark wood accents. The storage underneath the bed has wheels although it’s not on tracks. You will have to straighten the drawers out once you get them situated. The drawers also have smaller baskets. I wish that the baskets were a little bigger to be closer to the size of the drawer front overall, a great piece that was fairly easy to assemble very sturdy bed frame with metal and wood slats to hold a mattress. It arrived in 2 weeks after purchase. Well packed and efficiently delivered. No damages. I took off a star because of a few issues 1) the assembly instructions are inconsistent. The corner where the sideboards and the headboard connect have two bolts. The instructions implye that they should be at the same level, such that the corner adapter can slide in hand fasten them together .However they were not. 2) one of the groves on the metal frame could not geip the screw provided.
