The new shipment did arrive with all the parts, but we also noticed some chipping and damage on the side. At that point, we decided to keep it because we were tired of going back and forth. Nice and sturdy. It took us awhile to build; it is fairly involved because it's got a lot of infrastructure (which is a good thing if you're looking for something hearty). The wood is def darker than in the picture, but I appreciated that since it matches the rest of the bedroom furniture more closely.
