This product features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. This Whisper-ceiling bathroom fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on.

We love it. It moves so much air.. Britney. Longwood, FL. Sat Jun 27 2020

Caveat: I haven't installed it yet. But it arrived on time, in the expected condition, the packaging was protective, the instructions are clear (they're for a couple different models, so you have to pay attention to what model you're actually working with). I like the options of the different speeds and the night light, though I'd rather it were an actually adjustable speed fan (I'd pay more for that feature). I also don't like that the light is round but the housing is square... perhaps ideal for retrofit but I'm gutting the entire room and would prefer a sleeker look (it just doesn't seem to exist with the options I want). I am a little disappointed with the plastic-y look of the fixture itself though, and this is the real reason for the missing star. The visible portion of the housing is actually made of plastic, as advertised, not coated metal or anything... I guess that's good for rust-proofing, but... it just looks much cheaper than I'd rather. I'm hoping it will look better in a finished ceiling than it did during my receipt-inspection of it. I left the protective film on the light fixture in my photos, that will obviously look better once installed. I'll hopefully be able to update this review with additional photos and comments at that time. Post installation update: I like the nightlight feature, the fan is super quiet (it's hard to hear if it's turned on until it gets going even), but it's a very *yellow* light. I guess it does say 3000K is the color, but... honestly it looks more like 2500K lights than that. The paint on the ceiling is Sherman Williams High Reflective White (the highest LRV / "whitest" white paint they sell). So we will likely just use the nightlight and fan features, and rely on the other lights in the bathroom for actual light.. E.w.. PA. Tue Jan 04 2022

3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. Only negative in my opinion is there is a delay in the fan working when it’s turned on. Not a big deal but I’d like it to turn on when I flick the switch.. Lisa. Valley Stream, NY. Tue Jun 02 2020

This high-capacity fan is an exceptionally quiet solution to continuous ventilation. With its heavy-duty motor, the high-capacity fan is an ideal solution for conference rooms, public restrooms, and other areas in commercial buildings that require ongoing ventilation. Low-vibration and lo-profile, they work quietly without getting noticed.

I have purchased 3 of these and they are excellent ! I installed 2 in our RV garage and later the other one in our 200 sq ft kitchen. What I have come to understand is, if you get the right amount of them in the area you need it , it will create it's own atmospheric conditions. For instance in our kitchen I can get a nice breeze on a calm day! In the garage, we now have a breezeway into the house through the laundry room! I can't imagin why anybody would go less than 700 cfm... Ole_robby. Lake Havasu City , AZ. Fri Mar 08 2024
