This is a great bed, easy to build, sturdy, and the color is lovely. Our youngest loves his new big boy bed. We love all the storage for a small room. We also appreciate the drawers being on casters so that it’s easy to move them out to vacuum under the bed. I have a few minor gripes: figuring out the placement of the slats was awkward (it has improved from an earlier version of a similar bed, where each slat had to be screwed in; this one is easier). It would help to have guide marks on the frame as to where the slats should go. When the bed is finished, screws on the headboard are visible above the pillow. I don’t know why they’re not facing the back of the headboard. Lastly, I wish there were a cover for the drawers so that the things stored inside don’t get easily dusty. The headboard came with a big crack in a panel. I got the bed in a few days and the replacement will not come for a week. I picked this one partly because of the quick shipping and will I have to wait to get the broken replacement parts. It does come in a ton of pieces. You have to put it all together. The Wayfair rep told me I had to repackage the item and drop them off at FedEx which is not my responsibility. I’m waiting to hear from a supervisor but haven’t and that was 4 days ago. We just bought a new home and we have many more rooms to furnish. I am a Wayfair Rewards member and have been very happy with all previous orders up until the last 3 shipments. If this isn’t resolved I won’t be purchasing anything else. We simply do not have the time to assemble, reassemble or take damaged items to FedEx. Disappointing. Overall it is a nice piece. Fairly good quality. Sturdy wood. 8 drawers! HOWEVER, putting this together with 10,000 puzzle pieces was a major pain.
