Couch is extremely well made…all fabric seams are straight and frame is solid. It is firm for seating but not unforgiving or uncomfortable..I feel it will hold up well. Fabric is a blue gray pillow ticking and high quality. I sprayed with Scotchgard but think spills would roll off anyway. Received my sofa today and it’s great! I really think there’s pretty good quality. The only complaint is the skirt is a little wrinkled on the left side. I also ordered the matching loveseat and had the exact same issue with that piece, so it doesn’t seem to be isolated to just the sofa. I love this loveseat! It’s sturdy, comfortable and a perfect size and color for my small office. It’s a little wider than a regular loveseat, but not as wide as a sofa, which is exactly what I needed. The only thing I didn’t like were the pillows that came with it.
