Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I love the look of a braided area rug on a hardwood floor, and this one is a stunner! First off, the colors are gorgeous and slightly more vibrant than the online photos which is better suited for natural sealed oak. It supports any furniture colors (warm colors and cool colors) making it incredibly versatile for casual design. The wool is so soft and feels cozy and comfortable on bare feet. Takes about 25-48 hours to lay flat which is normal for any braided rug (not my first rodeo). I bought the 8x11 so HEAVY! This type is made exclusively for them. This very special and unique process enables the yarn and rugs to assume a wool-like appearance. Most braided rug manufacturers use recycled non-woven materials as fillers. They use only synthetic fiber yarns knitted into a tube. The two ends of filler act as a firming agent around which the surface yarns are entwined. Not only is filler non-absorbent, but it also provides relaxation so the rug will always lie flat. The filler is a built-in cushion for a softer underfoot feeling. They use Clear, a high-quality monofilament thread, which exceeds industry standards for strength and durability.
