This chair is beautiful, comfortable, and brilliant in the ways that you have various settings. Just sitting in it like in the first picture, it’s very comfortable. Then you have a choice of raising the headrest up while just sitting in it, or raise the head rest up and recline. We searched for ten minutes for the remote, before found control buttons on left side of seat cushion , so no remote to lose. The fabric is lovely, I chose the white and love it! I’m so surprised at how much I love these chairs. I didn’t expect them to be so incredibly comfortable! I bought two and they add a beautiful pop of yellow to our family room. My husband was doubtful but he can’t stay off of them now. -) The electrical mechanism works well so far. You must lower the reclining mechanism to get out of them or the entire chair moves forward with you (so not super stable if used in that way), but just don’t rush and take the time to lower it to get out and you’ll be fine.. These chairs (we bought 2) are perfect! They are not a big sink-in-cozy side chair, BUT, they are quite comfortable, swivel, rock, and recline!
