Love these shelves. Great quality as everyone says. The problem I had was the assembly. I purchased the full assembly (taking out of boxes and fully assembly and removing boxes). Wayfair partners with Angi List and unfortunately the service was problematic. First they note this is a two person job and only one person came. They couldn’t help with anything because they didn’t bring a ladder or right tools. I ended up taking the shelves out of the boxes which took about 45 mins per box because you literally have to cut the shelves out if you keep them standing up. I also hauled away all the packaging. Then I rescheduled another contractor to anchor to wall and install the ladder. Again, only one person came without a ladder. He managed to use a stool I had to anchor things and helped drill an extra hole in shelf for ladder since I needed to rearrange shelves differently and the ladder rail wouldn’t fit. Overall it all came together nicely but did not appreciate leaving the assembly to a second party that was not reliable and there was no customer service to speak to, everything was AI and very frustrating. to. This is a very high quality unit for the price. It came in three separate boxes that were each pretty heavy, so you might need 2 people to carry them. The directions were clear and easy to follow, but it did take quite a while to put together. It's absolutely necessary to have 2 people put it together, especially when connecting the top section of the hutch to the side shelves and when lifting it up from the laying position. I was able to put it together by myself up until that point, then I needed a second set of hands. It holds a lot of items and is very sturdy. Overall it’s pretty good. Kind of pricey for the cheap materials but it does give a “grand look” when done. Took about 3 days to build everything. Pay extra attention to the instructions and orientation of the pieces which are sometimes hard to see in the pictures. **Ours in the final photo is still under construction..it needs to be leveled on each side. We also moved the top section close to the ceiling because we are going to build around it and make it into one full wall unit. I did most of it myself until the big pieces needed to be rolled over or stood up and when it came time to put the doors on. I was a little disappointed that one of the 4 units that came in looked like it was damaged and repaired but thankfully customer service offered a solution. Also about 4 of the door handle bolts were too small and wouldn't work. The shipping boxes were a little beat up but the packaging was good inside and it all survived getting to us.
