It’s very solid and not hard to assemble. I use it for CDs and their player, and to support the TV sound bar. I don’t have any vynil records but the size fit the space. I had terrible shipping issues - due to damage of one of the boxes twice… arrives in 2 huge boxes each weighing over 100 pounds so it was difficult carrying them up my stairs. I did get a professional to build and there were 2 people that arrived (assuming they always tackle jobs together as they were husband and wife) it took a little over 3 hours to build. For the price this is a good unit to have. It took me about 5 hours to assemble 2/3rd by myself. The negatives: 1. Despite the description saying it's Engineered wood, it's not. It's particle board construct - less durable in a long run. 2. Lazy Quality Assurance. Some of the packets aren't even labeled and you have to guess.
