It was very quick and easy to build. It also came with some extra screws and pieces in case you dropped anything. The support mounting area was already pre drilled which is nice because the spacing is even but the only thing I don’t like about that personally is if you wanted to support it with a wall stud, you’d have to either place it in a way that lines up with one which may throw off the centering to a room or drill new holes into it. Overall, it feels like a nice shelf. Not too thick and not too heavy with plenty of room for display. Anonymous. Wed Sep 09 2026

I am very impressed with the build quality of this library. It feels incredibly sturdy and well-made, worth the purchase. Not everything arrived in perfect condition but I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the assembly process was. The only minor downside for me is the wood pattern and color. I wish there had been more variety to choose from, as only one option was available, and it wasnt my first choice. However, the structural integrity and overall perfect build more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a solid piece of furniture that is built to last, I highly recommend this!. Pooyan. I purchase a two-pack of this bookcase and it is incredibly sturdy, and the wayfair professional assembly was great. It was not super complicated, and the bookcase is easy to move despite its size. The two bookshelves sit next to each other pefectly. The shelves are deep enough to hold three full rows of paperbacks, or two rows of hardcovers. It fits so many books! The shelf doors also have the slow-close feature to prevent slamming. The only possible downside is the weight. It came in several boxes of about 100lb each. Some were very long, some were short but dense. It definitely takes two people to move the boxes inside! The order shipped fast, and arrived on time. Despite the weight of the boxes, the shelves themselves are a good balance of sturdy and heavy. The ladder comes as a separate package, easy to assemble, and just hooks onto the individual rings. it doesn't slide, but that's okay, because I have it on a rug. The ladder is super light and is tall enough that you can access the top shelf and even on top of the bookshelf! Overall I would happily buy this bookcase again.. Nick. Chicago, IL. Thu Oct 15 2026

Very pretty! Very tall which is just what I wanted. I was worried about the stability with it being so tall but the unit is very well built and very sturdy. Sturdy but not too heavy to move or set up. It comes with a brace to attach to the wall but not necessary for my use. It took an hour to put together. Adjustable shelves make room for books, framed art and collected pieces, while bronze-finished hardware adds a quiet traditional note.
