This was initially going to be a 1 star review because when the bookcase arrived, every shelf and the bottom of the bookcase was damaged. I changed it to 4 stars because of how great the product support has been. I submitted the issue to wayfair and they put me in touch with the manufacturer, who offered to send a replacement if I sent the damaged one back. I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of returning such a large item so I asked for a partial refund and they offered 25 back, which I felt like was fair. They also responded every time in a timely manner. So while the product did arrive damaged, customer service was excellent and this experience won’t deter me from ordering from wayfair again.. The touch feeling is smooth, and it will be stain-resistant, just wipe with wet cloth could take good care of it.

I only deed the 2 shelf bookcase. It was fairly easy to put together. The instructions were clear. I was able to put it together by myself in about an hour. It looks nice. The only thing I don’t like about it is that it is particle board with a sort of paper veneer, almost like Contac paper. I’m pretty sure that it will scratch easily and if you put anything wet on it, it will ruin the surface. I guess it is okay for the price.. Katherine. Arroyo Grande, CA. Thu May 21 2026

Really a 4.8 if we’re splitting hairs. I needed more storage in my bathroom so gave this a shot because it’s a few inches thinner than your average shelf. I might be mixing a few two many tones and shapes but at least I have my counter space back. Pros Nice easy glide drawer Sturdy Great walnut look Mehs A little imperfection in some of the seams It is cheaper materials so not sure about long term durability. Abee. CT. Mon Oct 05 2026
