luv the versatility of this unit and the ability to add more sections down the road. also love the simple but elegant design, my only dislike was the fact that brown is no longer available, also the instructions indicate that you would need to screw the top shelving unit into the basedrawers. And so this item seemed perfect and was far less than the $2000-$3000 items I was able to find elsewhere. Who has that sorta money lol. Note, this took quite some time for my spouse and I to put together and in the future I'd just hired Taskrabbit for 50 bucks to do it. I believe it will be perfect. Feels think and strong. I purchased a grey which I consider light grey. I like it. I'm assembling by myself (in my 70s). Directions have no words but pictures have been clear. All you need comes in the box to include the screwdriver and Allen wrench. A second person would be very helpful to help the pieces while you tighten. So far looks as expected. it is now together and I did need a second person to help balance pieces while putting them together, only negative are the adjustable shelf holders. Those pieces are actual screws . while sturdy they do not allow for easy accessibility if you wish to move them. I purchased easy to remove holders, metal with heavy acrylic, at the local hardware store for less than $5.00 they are easy to install and move if needed. i am still very please with the purchase.. I couldn’t have found a better shelf for the space I needed. We live in an old house that we are remodeling so needless to say our spaces are wonky. We have a space next to our safe and this shelf fits perfectly in width depth and height. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. It caused the piece to crack a little which is ok since this is hidden and for storage. Impressed with the hardware - all metal. And it comes with a magnetic screw driver! The shelves are .5 inches thick- feels very flimsy and the sides with the design that I thought would look unique and cool .... no.... they are pure fiberboard. their photo clearly says that the shelves are 1.57 thick- ill upload the photo from their advertisement This is a cheaply made item, save your money & buy something from a store you can actually see- or ask a friend to make them and they will be more unique!
