I got this bookcase for my little one, and overall I’m really happy with it. I wanted something that was sturdy, easy to organize, and would fit nicely in a child’s room without taking up too much space. This checked all of those boxes. Assembly was pretty straightforward. The instructions were easy to follow, and once everything was together, the bookcase felt solid and stable. It holds a surprising number of books, toys, and puzzles, which has made keeping the room organized so much easier. I also appreciate the neutral gray color because it blends well with just about any room decor. My only real complaint is the decorative design on the front. It’s cute for a younger child, but I was hoping for something that would grow with my little one a bit longer. As they get older, I’ll probably try to remove or cover the design so it has a cleaner, more timeless look. Thankfully, the gray finish itself is versatile enough that I think it will still work well in an older child’s room. Other than that, I really don’t have any complaints. The quality is good for the price, it feels durable, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. If you’re looking for a functional children’s bookcase with plenty of storage, this is a great option. This small bookshelf is just the right size for my needs. It assembled easily and is good quality. But I chose this style of ladder bookcase - with rods instead of fabric pockets - so that the entire cover of each book is visible. This works well for the top 2 shelves, which have a lip that keeps the books from slipping out under the rod. However the bottom shelf doesn't have this and I had to improvise something to keep the books from slipping out. (attached a piece of weather-stripping, which is working so far). Roylene. This is a very nice book display! I initially bought it for its intended use - to place books in it - but ended up using it in the pantry instead and it’s great. The color is vibrant, the quality is nice, and it’s spacious (whether used for books or pantry items).. R.g.. Florida. Sat Feb 06 2021
