We really love the quilt and it goes very well with our cabin decor. However, the shams are stitched in such a way that it makes it difficult to get pillows into the shams. You can see in the picture the white pens. They are at the point where there is a stitch in from the sides. The stitch should be closer to the edge, and there is enough material for it to be closer to the edge. This would provide more room for inserting a pillow into the sham. Love the quilt the look and the weight. Just what I needed to make my guest room not feminine for when my son is here. What I don’t like is, as other reviews stated after just one wash it pilled up on the decorated side. Wouldn’t be so bad if it was the other side. I’m hoping it will go away or I’ll have to get one of those fabric shavers. I did wash it by itself in cold and let it hang dry over my couch.
