First one arrived unusable because it was packaged incorrectly. A replacement was sent quickly. No assembly required for the fixture. My husband tried to use the wire caps but determined they weren’t big enough so he used some others he had in the garage. You are limited on how you can turn this on your ceiling. The base plate does not allow for adjustments so if your receptacle in the ceiling isn’t square, your light fixture won’t be either. The bulb sockets are on hinges so it makes it a little easier to place the bulbs but you will still need tiny hands to reach in there. The tiny fan actually puts out a decent amount of air flow for its size and is perfect for our bedroom. I love that it has a remote. The remote comes with a wall mounted holder if you want to use it. This is a high quality fan light with good features. The light is adjustable in both brightness and warm/cool so I can set it exactly how I like it. Love that feature. It looks really beautiful in my bedroom. The fan puts off a very nice breeze and is very quiet. The downsides: my old traditional ceiling fan had separate switches for the fan and the light, and this fan doesn't work with the second separate fan switch. Also if you turn it off using the wall switch, it preserves the last light setting but not the fan setting, so you would have to turn the fan back on with the remote any time you use the switch. Shout out to the manufacturer and to wayfair. There was an issue with my order missing some of the screws. They resolved my issue quickly and hassle-free. I really appreciate it.. Diana.
