I love that this bookshelf shipped in one box. It was heavy! It took me and my partner about 3 hours to assemble. All the instructions were not clear but we managed to get it done. Shelf seems pretty sturdy! It is also pretty tall so measure first. I have high ceilings and still have about 2 - 3 feet to the ceiling after placing my monitor on top. I wouldn’t say it is heavy duty made of the similar material from the 30 shelf I replaced. I love how it fits perfectly in the corner of my bedroom. There is plenty of storage space. The shelf comes with black tabs that you are supposed to use to cover the screws…. They don’t stick well and they are already starting to peel up. This solid wood bookcase is the perfect size for any space. At 32" high, it provides ample storage, but doesn't overpower. We use real wood and screws with plugs in our construction - not MDF, air nails, or Staples. Some minor assembly at home is required; instructions and hardware included. Overall dimensions of 36" W x 10" D x 32" H with three openings that allow for 33"W x 8.5"D x 9.25"H. We do not use highly processed wood, because of this, you can expect knots and minor imperfections that make each piece unique.
