This is an elegant, firm sofa that was easy to assemble solo, and this is not something I usually do. I did have a friend help me flip it up onto its legs after assembly. The box arrived really beat up, and I had misgivings as I was unwrapping, but the contents were protected. I have now had this sofa for over a year; I slept on it for three months while fostered cats and kittens took over my bedroom. It would work to use it as a daily bed, but it is VERY firm. The blue velvet fabric has held up nicely despite 2 cats (who fortunately, do not scratch it). I have received many compliments on it; it is the focal point of the sitting area. The love seat is really nice and comfy, but please note it is small! I have to move the back pillows in order to have room to really lay down and get comfortable! I wish it were more spacious. You’ll need three strong, able bodied people to get the arms of the sofa attached to the back and in an entirely different manner than what is illustrated in the instructions. The bolt was not attached to the center leg support creating yet another ‘easy’ assembly obstacle … sigh.
