I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! I've had this for about two months--although it hasn't been installed that long. It seems to work beautifully, has lots of options for heat, spin, sanitize--anything you could possibly want. No complaints at all! If I had just replaced a former unit, this would have been a breeze, and probably the installation would have been a snap! But if you, like me, are installing ANY unit in a new location in your house, beware of steep learning curve! In my case: re-routing of HVAC register & ductwork, new electric lines with permits, new plumbing lines connecting to maze of existing plumbing lines, with outdoor dryer venting connecting to--what? Well it was not simple! And, all the work with several different contractors cost at least three times what the unit itself did, in the end. $$$$! On the positive side, I now have exactly what I wanted, and it all works perfectly, giving me the flexibility I craved. I read lots of reviews, and this stackable seemed best.. Kate. Maryland.
