This bed is worth buying. Got it in the black full and white queen. Love the look and was easy to assemble. Had to request another piece because of damaged piece on the black bed. The white bed had the same piece damaged but not as noticeable as the black one so I believe they need to changed the way it is packaged to ensure the piece is not damaged. I’m in love with the frame! I’ve had it a couple of months now and it’s holding well! It does come with wooden slats, to which I had to cover with a blanket because I was using an air mattress until my actual mattress came in and didn’t want to take any chances of it popping. I did have a different frame from Wayfair (the canopy frame which also held up wonderfully) but I’ve been eyeing this one (even before the canopy) and once I moved it was the perfect opportunity to snag it! This is great. Seems structurally stable. Easy to put together. Two complaints. The silver metal bolts are visible on the outside of the posts, so I’m spray painting those to match the frame. The bigger complaint is that the mattress slides. The bottom rails are smooth and flush. there’s no recessed area for the mattress to sit in to keep it in place. Very disappointing, the bed I received does NOT have the same detail as the photos on the website. The vertical rungs on the head and footboard are smooth round pipe not the more sculpted detailed ones on the website. I might have picked another bed with more detail had I known.
