This is the best idea ever, I love it! I was not thrilled about a dark color so I took fabric and glue gunned it all around the wood pieces after I assembled most of it, their was enough room to do this and it worked great. Delivery was quick and the bed was packed securely. The instructions for installation were hard to read because the screws weren’t labeled. After putting the bed together, I could see the beauty of the bed. For the price bed is sturdy, the velvet is soft, and the cream color is exactly the same color as the picture. The height of the bed is a little lower than expected, but a 14’ mattress works well to give the bed xtra height. Overall, if you’re looking for affordability, this bed is it. Very nice looking bed. We purchased it for our guest bedroom and it goes really well with the wallpaper we have. The storage underneath holds quite a lot and it's easy to lift and put it down. This is a solid, well-made bed. I was especially pleased at the quality of the wood. This is not MDF or fiberboard. This is a seven layer plywood with oak veneer. I encountered no problems whatsoever during assembly. The pieces fit perfectly together, and were flush and square. Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath.
