I had a lovehate relationship with these chairs immediately. I absolutely love the cane back, and I love the black frame, because it offers beautiful contrast. But the white linen was very cheap, very thin, wrinkled almost immediately, and I knew it would be worn out in a month. The matching lumbar pillow was very flimsy and offered absolutely no support, support that would be important in such a deep chair. But I couldnt get over the potential of these chairs. At the behest of a friend, I decided to look into the option of reupholstering the chairs. I thought it would be cost prohibitive. It certainly wasnt cheap, but, all in, they ended up costing about what a custom chair would cost. This way I got what I wanted. I love the fabric that I picked, and I still love the way it looks with the black frame and the Beautiful cane.
