There are ridges in the water basin so you can brew small to large cups. The traditional multi-cup pot side is pretty standard with a mesh filter basket and pour in feature. When you hit brew on either side, it takes a minute to heat the water before it starts coming out but you can hear it so you know it’s doing something.
